A renowned researcher in the field of gastroenterology, Dr. Ikenna Egbuna earned his medical degree from the University of Nigeria before continuing his medical training at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, affiliate of the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He completed his residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Egbuna then completed his fellowship training in gastroenterology at the University of Missouri—Kansas City (UMKC). He worked as a Consultant Gastroenterologist with the Indiana University Health System before opening his own independent practice, GastroCare of El Paso.
